Name every place your side hustle money comes in, and this sorts them into the ones that send you a form in January and the ones that send you nothing at all. Five steps. "Not sure" is an answer at every one of them.
Before you start
You don't need any numbers open. Rough is fine, and the point of the run is finding out which payers you'd have had to go looking for anyway.
The IRS says that whether or not you receive a Form 1099-K, you still report the income on your return. So the payers that send nothing are the ones your own record has to carry.
This tells you who files paperwork about you, using the IRS thresholds for tax year 2026. It doesn't tell you what you owe, what counts as an expense, or what to put on a return. For that, talk to a tax pro about your own situation.
Nothing you type leaves your browser. There's no account, no login, and no server to send it to.

Five tickets, one per step
These are the IRS reporting thresholds for tax year 2026, and they describe when a payer has to file. They are not a statement about what you owe or what you can claim. A payer can also send a form when they weren't required to.
Thresholds here are the IRS's own: a payment app or marketplace files a 1099-K when payments pass $20,000 and 200 transactions, nonemployee compensation is reported at $2,000 for 2026 (it was $600 before 2026), and royalties are reported at $10. Payee statements are due to you by January 31.
